Had a great stay here! Super close to Kyoto station Breakfast offered plenty of tasty options, and the staff were helpful with our bags. A little cramped, but that’s Japan for you!

Comfortable room, convenient location, the breakfast offered a delightful variety of options that exceeded my expectations, and the hotel is just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to explore the area.

I had a wonderful experience at Apa Hotel Kyoto Ekimae. The location is superb, merely a short walk from Kyoto Station, which made my city explorations easy. The breakfast was impressive, featuring a delightful array of Japanese dishes, and staff members were exceptionally accommodating.

Room size is quite compact.

i would have thought an apa hotel would be more luxurious, but my room was soooo tiny, and the aircon did not work properly on arrival, which I had to fix myself. plus, i didn’t even get a free upgrade to make up for it! so disappointed, I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Had a somewhat decent stay and the location was very close to the train station so, made it easy to explore the city. The staff was very helpful, they actually guided me to some bike parking which made things convenient.

Could have been cheaper but was still okay.

Oh my gosh, the staff here were, like, totally awesome! They were so friendly and helpful, which totally made my stay. The room was super clean, and I loved the little water bottles they gave us every day. I just wish the bathroom had a bit more space, but honestly, it was functional!

The room was comfy for our whole family, including our three dogs! Super close to Kyoto station, making it a breeze to explore the city. The breakfast was a hit with everyone, and the staff made us feel welcome and attended to our needs.

My wife says that early check-in would be great.

Additionally, if you're seeking a more central location, this might not be ideal, as it takes around 25-30 minutes to walk to the town center.

Just a great fit for spending a night in Kyoto with good price value. The location next to the station made early travel easy, especially for catching trains to nearby cities. Arriving early, I was happy to find a nearby café for breakfast before check-in.
